Quartz Filter Sand & Gravel

Quartz is a natural mineral mainly composed of silica which is then washed, sieved, dried and bagged. Good quality filter media is essential for monitoring and extraction wells in order to retain most of the formation material and to maximise hydraulic response. Good quality filter media should have a uniformity co-efficient of approximately two and made from predominantly silica.
