1988
MGS (Marton Geotechnical Services Ltd) UK was founded in 1988 by directors Martin Clegg and Tony Osborne, initially to supply products in the UK for Geotechnical drilling but rapidly expanded to include products for the Landfill, Geothermal and Environmental sectors.Image: MGS UK Headquarters in Bury St Edmunds
2003
In 2003 came the expansion into the European market with the acquisition of Terraequip GmbH in Germany. 2007
The manufacturing of Geothermal Loops started at our production facility in Heinsberg in early 2007 using custom designed automated welding and coiling machinery enabling manufacture to VDI 4640 and SKZ HR 3.26 standards. 2019
2019 saw the opening of our new production facility in Heinsberg for the manufacture and distribution of Geothermal loops. 2022
We are now the official HIRO Geotherm distributor for Germany, Belgium and Holland.
